Your primary goal for your business is to get clients to choose you over your competitors. What makes you stand out? What exactly do you do and why? Across social media and your website should be a clear, concise message of what you offer and why someone should choose your business.
The five W’s is a great way to cross check with your website and social media platforms if your are answering what your clients are looking for. 1. Who are you? What’s your name, your title? 2. Where do you work? Are you mobile, digital or office based? This is great for location specific brands 3. What do you do? What’s your role, your specialty? What do you provide? 4. What makes you unique? What makes you stand out over the rest? Is it your style, creativity or experience? 5. Why? Why choose YOU? Give a short story or testimonial as support to prove why you are best suited for the job Many of you have been asking what my office space look like? You have all read that my inspiration came from the last picture on my last blog. Picture via Pinterest 📷 As most of you know. I drew my inspiration from this photo. My office space is similar but still a work in progress! I love the simplicity and clean lines of the desk & how everything has a home. I also love the placement of this home office. Being able to have some natural sunlight streaming in and seeing whats going on outside is a definite plus if your having to work at a desk. But that POP of colour is what really captured my eye! A simple addition of some pink (or whatever your fav colour is) just brightens up this work station. So here it is....
I adore my iMac and wouldn't trade it in for anything! I love that the keyboard is portable and if I'm in need of some more desk space, I can simply relocate it. My calendar, as big as it may be, is a MUST! I'm on the look out for something a little "cuter" and possibly a touch smaller. Flowers or plants are something that I love having on my desk. Not only do they cheer you up on tough work days but they can be easily changed out with the seasons or mood. My desk is dark cherry wood and quite large & heavy. Im in the process of having a desk made for me. It is going to be made from reclaimed wood & pipe...very trendy! My desk to be functional and clean looking. I don't want too many shelves and drawers to hide things. If your not using it daily, you don't need it! I'm so lucky to be able to do my work from home. One perk fore sure was creating my office space! I wanted functional yet pretty with a home for every little thing. With so much inspiration everywhere I looked (on Pinterest) where does one start? What desk? what colour scheme? What accessories? Here listed below are a few of my fav's. Love the elegance to this office space. From the open, tidy shelves to the amazing colour coordinating accessories, this office has it all! Lets not forget the stunning matching armless chairs! Picture via Pinterest 📷 If your looking for family functionality this office space might be right for you. With lots of shelving and storage there will never be a "messy Desk" situation! Love the idea of a computer area and a work area and how the two work together. Perfect for mom or dad to get a little work done while entertaining the little ones with some colouring or homework. Picture via Pinterest 📷 This look is my absolute favourite and is where I got my inspiration for my own office space. I love the pop of colour, the length and clean lines of the desk, the simplicity of the storage and of course the view out of the window. Simple yet pretty. Picture via Pinterest 📷
